They wore our shirt and 'protected this lab'!

A month has passed since we teamed up to 'Protect This Lab' with iwearyourshirt.com on January 12th, but some of you may have missed out on the excitement that day. Here's a little recap of what happened that day.

The five shirt-wearers did us proud as our honorary Labconco 'lab superheroes' for the day. They did an excellent job of emphasizing the importance of lab safety and protection on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube.

In addition to the fun content created by our friends at iwearyourshirt.com, we celebrated the day by holding numerous contests on our Facebook page.

Four 'flash giveaways' were held throughout the day, which gave participants a chance to win a $50 Amazon card by answering a trivia question. Congratulations to our winners Katie Popp, Nate Brimeyer, Shayne Wargo and Jennifer Carter!

We also held a caption contest (which received over 200 entries!) and awarded an Amazon Kindle to two randomly drawn submissions. Congratulations to Raymond Fatig and Sarah Kampfe for being selected as the winners!
