Getting creative with United Way

United Way is dedicated to solving the problems that seem insurmountable. Improving access to quality healthcare around the world. Solving teen illiteracy. Finding safe homes for the homeless. Helping at-risk kids stay in school. Providing water and sanitation to kids around the world. Advancing digital literacy in developing countries. It’s their mission to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good.

At Labconco, we want everyone to be involved in our effort to support the United Way, so we get creative with our United Way fund drives. At our offices there are so many fun ways to participate, it’s hard not to get involved. United Way isn’t just an event for us. It’s a whole season.

Each year, we like to kick off our United Way fund drive season with a new and unique event. Our engineers even design a mini-golf course right through the middle of our office to get everyone excited about the fund drive launch. It’s proven to be so popular, they’ve repeated the event many times. 

We’ve also raised funds for the United Way with Egg Roulette. People voted with their wallets to decide which Labconco managers and executives would get to try their luck.

We host bake sales, pancake breakfasts, donut days, casual days and find so many other ways to make United Way fun that giving feels truly rewarding.
