We are sad to report the passing of Paul Sullivan, a former Labconco associate and friend to many in the scientific community around the world. Paul retired from Labconco in 1997 as Vice President of International. He began his career at Labconco as a Project Engineer in 1966, but he was a salesman at heart. With his product expertise and desire to spread the Labconco message worldwide, Paul had the right mix of talents and personality for international sales. He established a full-time International Sales Department in 1982. Under Paul’s leadership, Labconco’s international business grew substantially. From a one-man department when it began, the International Department now has 11 full time associates. His legacy lives on and we at Labconco are indebted to his entrepreneurial spirit and vision.
Paul passed away on January 25, 2013, at age 79. He is survived by his two sons and their families. Please join us in fondly remembering Paul, thanking him for his 34 years of service to Labconco, and sending sympathy to his family.
